The protester demanded to know how long the King had been known about his sibling's relationship with Epstein, and also raised doubts about whether he had instructed the police to "conceal" for Prince Andrew.

The scandal over Prince Andrew's connections to Jeffrey Epstein has been revived by sexual abuse claims detailed in Ms. Giuffre's recently released memoir.

Prince Andrew, who reached a out-of-court agreement with Ms Giuffre in 2022, has consistently denied any misconduct. In a previous interview, he told a news program he did not remember meeting Ms Giuffre "ever", and that they "did not have any sort of sexual contact."

New Inquiries Over Lifestyle and Living Arrangements

But recently, fresh questions have been asked about how he is able to fund his lifestyle despite not being a active member of the royal family.

The revelation that he has only ever paid a nominal fee on his Royal Lodge has intensified the scrutiny over his housing situation - even though he made significant contributions initially, including for renovations.

The Liberal Democrats said he should be called in before MPs to give evidence about his lease of his lodge.

But last Thursday, the authorities declined to give parliamentarians time to debate the royal's status or his residence, despite growing pressure for scrutiny.

The royal household has not commented on whether the Duke of York might relocate of his current residence - or where he might go.
